*520  $aNorsk institutt for bioøkonomi har vegetasjonskartlagt 61 km² på Sødorpfjellet i Nord-Fron kommune.Kartlegginga er gjort etter instruks for kartlegging i målestokk 1:20 000 - 50 000 (VK50). Det er lagavegetasjonskart og 2 avleia temakart for beite for sau og storfe. Denne rapporten beskriv metode forkartlegging, registrerte vegetasjonstypar og deira fordeling i området. Det er gjeve ein omtale avbeiteverdi og beitekapasitet, samt nokre råd kring skjøtsel av kulturlandskap og beite i kartområdet.The vegetation types over a total area of 61 km2 on Sødorpfjellet in Nord-Fron municipality have beenmapped according to the methodology for vegetation mapping (scale 1:20 000 - 50 000). The most of themapped area is in the subalpine zone. A vegetation map has been produced, from which 2 differentthematic maps have been derived. This report describes the methodology and gives a detailed descriptionof the registered vegetation types and their distribution in the area. Further, a description of otherinformation which could be derived from the vegetation map is provided, with emphasis on grazingconditions for domestic animals.
